What is LOCUL?
LOCUL (Romanian for "the place") is Sacramento's first multi-disciplinary arts and education venue where creativity, connection, and transformation converge.
We're building a 3,000 sq ft space in Midtown Sacramento that houses five interconnected experiences: a specialty coffee shop, an unconventional art gallery, a fine art photography studio, an acting conservatory, and an intimate 100-seat performance venue.
LOCUL is a living ecosystem where every element amplifies the others. Where your morning espresso leads to an art opening, where a photo session connects you to an acting class, where a performance becomes a conversation that lasts long after the lights come up.

Vania Piersinaru is a visual artist whose work celebrates the human form with radical honesty.

Self-taught artist developing her signature expressive style
At LOCUL, Vania curates DESIRE Gallery, her first formal exhibition space, and transforms client photography into original fine art paintings
